Signify at the GreenTech in Amsterdam, June 12th – 14th

On June 12th- 14th the GreenTech will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The GreenTech is a horticultural fair focusing on technology and innovation for the production of vegetables, fruit and flowers. More than 450 exhibitors from over 115 countries will showcase their products and innovations during the three-day exhibition.

We will participate in the GreenTech exhibition this year, this being our first fair under our new company name: Signify. Our booth has been transformed with our new company name and logo and you can find us in the exhibitor overview and on the map as Signify. Our products will keep the Philips-brand name and are still recognizable as such on our booth. Our Partners will remain Philips LED Horti Partners, and keep the existing logo.

Our first major fair as Signify will be kicked off with a bang as we will have two booths at the GreenTech this year. Our main booth is located at 12.101. In this booth we will demonstrate our complete portfolio, including some new products. At this booth you will find our Account Managers and product information, so please drop by the booth for a chat or for a great cup of coffee provided by Casa Barista.

Our second booth is located at the Vertical Farming Pavilion in hall 8, stand 8.501 R. This year we have a joint stand with Priva. Please let us explain the idea behind our joint stand.

Vertical farming is attracting ever-more interest. Between them, Signify and Priva offer the complete range of products and services that are needed to make multilayer indoor crop production a success. For a number of years Priva and Philips Lighting have been working together to explore this field. Therefore, at this year’s GreenTech, Signify – the world leader in lighting – and Priva – with long-standing experience in irrigation solutions and control systems for horticultural crops and building environments – are exhibiting on a joint stand. Together, they aim to give growers, food processing companies and investors a better understanding of how to benefit from vertical farming.

Signify’s Philips Greenpower LED lighting production module offers light efficiency up to 3 μmol/J while the Philips GrowWise control system enables dynamic light recipes, for example. This, in combination with Signify’s seed advice, variety screening, spacing expertise and grower training, enhances crop quality in a multilayer setup in terms of shelf life, vitamin content and flavor. Meanwhile, Priva provides complementary technology for use in vertical farming including integrated controls for labor, climate, irrigation and light, as well as irrigation units, fertigation units and 99.9% accurate disinfection units. In addition, Priva is a specialist in the use of integrated data (including via the cloud) to predict labor, yield and quality in order to optimize profitability.

At their GrowWise Center, BrightBox and Priva test locations, the two companies are collaborating on ongoing research into the optimization and integration of their respective technologies and expertise to the benefit of all their customers. By joining forces in this non-exclusive partnership of open collaboration, Signify and Priva are helping to accelerate the advancement of the vertical farming market. Learn more from the dedicated specialists themselves at our joint GreenTech stand 8.501 R.
